SmartSchool Education Conducts CSR at Ek Ehsaas Foundation, New Delhi

SmartSchool Education successfully conducted its January CSR initiative at Ek Ehsaas Foundation (EEF), New Delhi, a rapidly growing charitable trust dedicated to serving humanity with love, dignity, and compassion. The visit was not just a CSR activity, but a deeply meaningful experience for the entire SmartSchool team.

 

Registered in September 2017, Ek Ehsaas Foundation is a fully functional, non-profit charitable trust that works tirelessly for underprivileged sections of society. The foundation is led by Mrs. Reena Charles, an educationist and a truly visionary lady who stands as the strong pillar behind this noble initiative. Her dedication, sincerity, and belief in humanity reflect clearly in every aspect of the foundation’s work.

 

During the visit, the SmartSchool team had the honour of personally connecting with Mrs. Reena Charles, whose humility and kind-hearted nature left a lasting impression on everyone. She welcomed the team with warmth and respect, making the interaction comfortable and inspiring. Her approach towards service clearly shows that she does not just manage the foundation, but lives its values every single day.

 

Ek Ehsaas Foundation is home to people from underprivileged backgrounds, offering them care, shelter, and dignity. Currently, around 15 residents and staff members live at the foundation. For some, EEF serves as an old age home, while for others, it is a safe shelter that gives them hope and security when they have nowhere else to go. The foundation truly lives by the belief that service (sewa) is the highest form of devotion.

 

 

EEF strongly believes that humanity is the greatest religion. It reminds us that we all are children of one God, belonging to different religions and races, yet connected by love. The foundation aims to re-ignite the spirit of goodness and compassion that often fades in today’s fast-paced world. Through conscious action and selfless service, EEF continues to give back to family, society, country, and God.

 

The SmartSchool team found the visit extremely humbling and enriching. Spending time at Ek Ehsaas Foundation helped everyone reflect on the importance of gratitude, kindness, and responsibility towards society. Meeting Mrs. Reena Charles and witnessing her work was truly an honour. People like her are real gems in society, silently creating positive change through action, not words.
