Creating Change Through Education: SmartSchool Education Limited’s CSR Visit to Under The Tree Foundation

SmartSchool Education Limited continued its commitment to social responsibility through its CSR activity for the month of November at Under The Tree Foundation, a remarkable NGO located in Sector –135, Noida. This visit was not just an event; it was an inspiring experience that reminded us how powerful education becomes when it reaches the children who need it the most.

 

Under The Tree Foundation has been transforming lives for more than a decade. The heart and soul behind this noble initiative is Meetali, an educator and passionate social activist whose entire journey reflects dedication and compassion. Meetali, a graduate in Home Science from Jabalpur and a B.Ed. holder, has been associated with the field of education since 1991. She began her career in schools, but over the years, she felt a strong pull toward working at the grassroots level. She wanted to reach children who had no access to basic education, children of daily wage earners, migrant workers, and marginalized communities.

 

 

In her 11-year-long journey with Under The Tree Foundation, Meetali has helped more than 1,500 children receive basic education. Many of these children stepped into the world of learning for the very first time because of her efforts. The children studying at Under The Tree Foundation range from KG students to learners pursuing graduation, making the initiative truly inclusive and impactful. Today, the foundation continues to support around 150–200 children, offering them free education, learning support, and a safe environment to grow.

 

During SmartSchool Education Limited’s CSR visit, the team received a warm and heartfelt welcome from Mr. Anup Sinha, one of the key members of the foundation. Mr. Sinha is a humble and kind-hearted person who took the time to explain everything about the foundation, from its beginning to its current impact. His passion for the cause was clearly visible, and his commitment to supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds deeply inspired the team.

 

 

The SmartSchool team also had the privilege of meeting Meetali ma’am, the founder herself. She spoke about her journey, her challenges, and the joy she feels when she sees children learning, smiling, and dreaming big. Her presence radiated positivity, and her words left a lasting impression on everyone present.

 

During the visit, the SmartSchool team spent time interacting with the children, understanding their learning journey, and observing how the foundation runs its day-to-day activities. The children, full of energy and curiosity, reflected the true impact of the foundation’s work. Every smile and every spark in their eyes told a story of hope.
